| PRODUCT DISCRIPTION: |
| Used to check wrist straps and ground cords, as well as the contact resistance between wrist strap and skin. To operate, simply connect the tester to the ground cord of the wrist strap assembly, and press the finger pad. If the wrist strap and ground cord are working properly (resistance between 500KW and 10MW), the green "GOOD" lamp will light up and an audible signal will be heard. A lit red "HIGH" lamp, with no audible signal heard, indicates loose contact between wrist band and skin (resistance greater than 10MW). A lit red "LOW" lamp, with no audible signal heard, indicates a faulty ground cord resistor (resistance less than 500KW). Comes complete with 8-ft. grounding wire and 9V battery. |
